Respect in Sport - Speak Out On line

The ODHA office has received a number of calls from people who indicate that they have completed the on line portion of called RESPECT in SPORT (SPEAK OUT).

One of the difficulties that is happening is that people are not using their complete and correct home address when registering to take the RESPECT in SPORT program on line.

The problem that this creates is RESPECT in SPORT notifies the Branch from which the participant is a member of so if the person does not use their proper address then ODHA does not receive notification that the participant has completed and passed the course it then becomes very difficult for our office and your association to confirm that the participant has in fact completed the course.

As a proactive initiative and in order to prevent this from happening I suggest two things;

1-     That all associations place on their website the following link https://odha.respectgroupinc.com/secure/ for those wishing to do the online course for SPEAK OUT (RESPECT in SPORT)

2-     That all associations notify their members who will be taking the online program to ensure that they enter their correct address, city, prov. and postal code in the system when logging on to do the online course

If the participant registers correctly on line the ODHA will automatically be advised by e-mail that the participant has successfully completed and passed the online course.

Should you or any of your members have a problem, Rebecca at the ODHA office will do her utmost to rectify the issue.

As always many thanks for your valued and continued cooperation.

Regards
